Classical Education is a language-focused, literature-focused style of learning. It uses ancient methods to love virtue, think well and be lifelong learners. They look to the best writers and thinkers in history to form the base of their curriculum but believe that the teachers of this curriculum must be passionate about the subjects in order to pass that along to the students.
Following a child’s natural learning ability they teach subjects along the Trivium – Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric.
Grammar
Facts. Repeated exposure to information that they can recall throughout life.
Dialectic/Logic
Formal argumentation and connecting information previously learned through discussion.
Rhetoric
